    When I click on an Acrobat link in FireFox, it opens the file in a new tab: very practical.
    Now, when I do the same thing with Internet Explorer 8, it opens a window asking to save the file. So, the only way I can view the file is to save it and open it later with Acrobat.

    Anyway of having it open right away in an IE tab? :confused:

    Yeah, mine opens in a tab.

    Do you have an installed add-on for PDF files ? (i.e., "Adobe PDF reader link helper" or something like that ?) To check:

    Tools->Internet Options->Programs->Manage Add-ons

    I checked there and Adobe PDF Link Helper is enabled.
