I'm still pushing forward in using IE11 because it's given me the best user experience on my Yoga 2 Pro, but I've got another issue to dig into.
Websites place Facebook and Twitter share and like buttons all over the place, and China hates those sites, so in some cases (not sure of the underlying web design that causes it), they can't load on a site that otherwise comes up just fine. The result is a "page could not be loaded" error that occurs inside the page in question.
The error page is narrow like the original share and like buttons it's replacing, but it extends down quite a ways, usually obscuring a lot of the text of the article I'm trying to read. I can get around the issue with a VPN when it's working (but reliability isn't great and speed is often significantly compromised), but when it's not, I have to wait about two minutes for the error to magically disappear before I can read the text without guessing what's under the white space.
Is there any way to disable those damn Facebook/Twitter buttons or to prevent the error page from extending downward over the text? Pics below because it did indeed happen - one showing the problem, one showing the page with my VPN running to isolate the culprits.

I had similar problem couple days ago at work when ISP screwed up something and blocked Facebook for few hours. I wouldn't need FB at work but many other sites that have the share buttons did same as in your picture.
Some share buttons I've manually added to the adblock list because they seriously block access to website elements when you accidentally hover over them.
