For firefox, i have an add-on that blocks those ads that you find on websites, i think that the add-on is called adblock plus, does anyone know whether there is a similar add-on for Internet Explorer 7?

    Thanks :)

IE7 has built in pop up blocker if im not mistaken
ans so does firefox so therefore i have never needed addones for either
if your experiencing pop ups on IE7 try enabling it there should be an option there somewhere in the tools menu if im not mistaken

Why would you want to use an inferior browser? Just keep using Firefox with a real plugin-friendly architecture.

IE7pro -- also enables Mouse Gestures and a whole bunch of other things including Ad blocking. Plus it's free.
