I never had any freezing problems till lately, I updated my Nvidia drivers from Nvidias site when they started offering laptop drivers, this is when the freezing started, these problems did not register on the Performance & Reliabilty logging, nor did they show up as errors, it also didnt show up in the Problem Reports section, I went back to the latest OEM drivers, it froze less.
I recently did a Vista Ultimate x64 image re-install, when I made the image, there were certain things I left out of the image, such as video driver, flash and a few other things I really dont like.
After the image install, I added OEM Nvidia drivers, and all is fine, after a few days I decided I should put Flash back in, lo and behold the freezing started, I nailed it down to this situatution, when I am on a page with a ton of different types Flash usage for more then 2 minutes, then navigate away to a page with little or no Flash usage, then IE7 freezes, now this does not happen all the time, but I was able to recreate the freeze.
Im not sure if this issue is IE7, Vista Flash, Nvidia or all of the above.
Anybody else in the same boat, chime in.

It's a problem with flash player 10 & IE 7. This freezing happens to me too.

yep--Microsoft says its Adobe's fault, Adobe says its Microsoft's fault and no one fixes it

Wow I did some reading and reaserch, to find out this problem with Flash 10 is huge, earlier threads on Adobes site stated the problems are minor and very few, there are a-lot of people just screaming at Adobe, their techies answering posts seem to be dancing around the problem and offering work arounds that dont really work, I guess Ill just got back to V9 and stay there.
gerryf19, you are right about the blame game here. -
I switched to FF 3 due to this reason. Also IE 8 RC1 seems to crash in the same manner.
IE7 Started Freezing after Flash Installed
