I've just clean installed Vista Ultimate 64bit on my Lenovo T61p model. I only installed essential drivers and never installed any toolbars (eg google toolbar).
But, when open IE7, IE7 trying to open the following site:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=76277
which can't open, saying cannot display the webpage.
No start page has been set. My start page is about:blank. But, still IE7 trying to open this link. Even another page set, IE7 continuously open the dead link.
I already have been using Vista Business on my desktop for 1 year. I never experenced such error.
Could you help me out?
Thanks,
MJ

That is the RUNONCE annoyance. I do not recall if that was in the registry, the STARTUP, or in the TASK MANAGER (I think the TM).
