So I use my laptop to access scure.mil websites that utilize my CAC but whenevr I try and use my CAC on IE8 or FF for that matter I get an "untrusted" certificate error. Does anyone have any clue on how to get around this? Windows says I cannot disable the certificate warnings either!

Are you in the army? You need to add the certificate into your computer as trusted certificate, so you can use CAC card on your computer.
