This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    help! I opened a file from internet eplorer, clicked save and then closed it... Where is the file location?

    It's in your temp folder...

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\

    If it's windows Vista your using, what I usually do is highlight the C drive, and in the search box type in the days date and it will show all the files modified / downloaded from that day.
