Sometimes I will have 4-5 browsers open at once. I will then close all except one of them.

When I go into task manager, Processes, there will still be 4-6 "iexplorer.exe" processes open.

I don't want this. Why do they remain open after closing the browsers?

Is there a fix for this?

This is supposed to happen, helps with stability and if a tab crashes the whole browser is not supposed to go down. Chrome does it too and Firefox 4 will also.

    Yeah..I just found that out.

Crap. These browsers are memory hogs. You really need a good processor and a lot of memory these days to have a smooth running system.
