So I need some new imaging freeware. I have always used Dameon Tools to make images of my discs and run the emulator or whatever... but it killed my Vaio. Someone suggested Slysoft, but that was the only suggestion I got... so I would like to hear others.

Honestly, I was always very impressed with the way Dameon Tools worked, so the closest it is to that, without destroying my computer... that is what I want :D.

(It was screwing with the boot process, froze on boot, messed with it connecting to power [though I suspect that had to do with the boot problem]).

I've used ISO Recorder 3.1 for some of my disc images. Seems to work fine on most, except for a few things with copyright protection built in.
