The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I am new to this forum and am going to get my first notebook. I have built many desktops and have been in many forums. It does not appear that there is much help on this forum. Please tell me I'm wrong as I need to find a good place for help and info on notebooks. Thanks

Of course there is tons of help on this forum.

Like Andrew said, you need to give us details like how you will use it and your budget before we can recommend something to you.

Welcome to the forums [ :)].

you replied in the middle of another post requesting information. Thus it will take longer for them to get answered than if you posed a new topic, but there are now replies to everthing you've posed. For next time, to see how active the forum is just look at the posted date and time, there will always be something posted in the last couple hours at the latest, frequently in the last few minutes.
