    If not what is the cheapest vista edition that it is on?

    If it isn't on Vista Home basic, the cheapest one would obviously be Home Premium.

    grr Home premium doesnt come on Vostro 1500... Can i get it confirmed that it is not on Home Basic?

    I believe Home Basic has the standard-def version of Movie Maker, while Premium has the HD version of Movie Maker. Premium also adds DVD Maker.

    so yeah.

    and sA x sKy's link is the non-pixel shader version which requires the stock version of movie maker to install.
