This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Howdy all
    I just downloaded a program that came in .iso format. I have never come across this before how do I use/unpack/view this file?

    Hi uba,
    it's a disk image file.
    You need to use Nero or some other software that can write disk images; then when you burn it you can't just drop and drag, you have to tell it that the file is a image file and burn it as such.

    If by chance you don't have a CD burner, Nero has an application called ImageDrive that will treat .ISO files as a 'virtual cd-rom' and let you access the contents without having to burn to a CD.
