I just bought a new HP notebook yesterday, and am setting up my desktop. I have created shortcuts for my gmail and my hotmail, and have changed the icons to other ones that are available, (ones other than the typical "e"). The new chosen icons appear on the desktop when I hit "Apply", but when I actually use the shortcut, it reverts back to a white square with the top right corner of the square folded forward. It is an ugly icon, but it won't stay on the new ones I applied..... I even tried restarting the computer BEFORE using the shortcuts. When the system came back up, my newly selected icons were there, but when I used them, they went back to the ugly white icon.... Do you have any idea what could be happening? I don't think this is an HP problem, because as I recall, this used to happen with my Dell as well. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks in advance,
