Help! I just downloaded the new IE8-RC1, and now have a problem I didn't have with IE8-Beta -- apparently my new IE8-RC1 was programmed to run with add-ons disabled, and I can't figure out how to change it to have it run with add-ons enabled. There is a yellow Active X information bar at the top of EVERY page of EVERY website I go to -- (really annoying!!!) that says "Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled.)
In the Start Menu, the only IE option is the one with add-ons disabled. There's no option to change it in the C Drive, and I even tried to uninstall IE8 and reinstall it, but IE doesn't even show up in the Programs and Features Menu. I'm really stumpedCan anyone please tell me how to switch over to IE running with add-ons?

I'm having the same issue and have been trying to figure out a solution for it. I'd really like to give this a shot if I can get it working.

That happened to me as well when I upgraded. I think it is a fairly common problem that happening for folks that upgraded to RC1. I'm definitely no technical expert, but hopefully I can at least point you towards some resources that can help you out.
Here's Microsoft's advice on solving the problem (it's what fixed my issue, and we're running similar systems, so this might work for you too):
"If you receive a message that all add-ons are disabled every time you start Internet Explorer, follow these steps to help resolve the problem:
In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset. Follow any on-screen directions.
Close and re-open Internet Explorer."
