Never mind, I got it but I am jut worried if it does make image properly.

Roxio software (but it costs money). I made a perfect image of an Office Enterprise 07 disc (from the Partner Program) with it.

I have a copy of Nero 8, and from what I have seen, it's the same thing, just not as fancy. FWIW... -

daemon tools, magic iso, poweriso, vmware, nero, raxio, alchohal, infrabuner, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7 etc.

CD2ISO is a tiny .ISO ripper. Nice and simple. Works for me.

No. DVDshrink is for ripping dvd videos.
Alchohal is a free cd/dvd burner or imager which is also free -
ImgBurn is essentially idiot proof and free.
-
daemon tools is suppose to be really good. they allow more then 1 disk to be mounted compared to the others.

Never mind it was the regional settings.

Regional settings has nothing to do with DVD image. DVD image has no regional settings.
Or.. you're not creating an image at all. You're just ripping the dvd video. -

I did all of my stuff for my httpc with dvdfab5 it was the only ripper I could find that circumvented all of the various copy protections. Many good programs out there but they only worked on about half my dvds.
I ripped to .vob though and then encoded it to a .mp4 with h264. same quality smaller size. good for htpc but not what you would want for a "copy" of the image. For that I do not recall if dvdfab5 does an .img rip.
You may be best off just doing a 1:1 copy from one disk to another. I personally would not store original dvd images on my hdd just seems too waistful. -
