Hey
I have a Dell Inspiron 1520. My operating system is Windows Vista Premium.
Some images in Windows Vista don't work. Let me explain. If I go Start -> Help and Support, a window pops up entitled Windows Help and Support. Nothing unusual. However, this is what it looks like:

Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Just a quick note: everything else works fine... it's only when there are images mixed with text in any help contexts throughout Vista that the images don't show up.

I had a similar problem in XP - in my help files, none of the links worked. Never did figure out what was wrong, although it didn't bother me enough to go to the trouble of replacing the help files from another computer...
My guess is that Windows is not able to access the actual image files, wherever they're stored.
Has this always happened?
Have you deleted any system folders?
Have you seen any strange aircraft hovering outside your window or experienced any telepathic disturbances?
J/K on that last one! =^) -
Well, once when I was sleeping, about a dozen 3-ft tall creatures in silver suits were messing around with my laptop...
I am pretty sure it was working at the beginning. I'm not sure what happened.
I'm going to follow the link Incursis posted and see if I find anything... -
