Hi people!
I've had a HDD failing on me a while ago and although i've been able to recover pretty much everything the files are one big mess.
I work as an interior designer and i hads LOADS of jpeg's collected on that disk. The thing now is that all the files are divided in folders from 10000-30001 and there are a LOT of duplicates. I've deleted a lot of stuff that i didn't need like full catalogues of suppliers and such and by sorting the rest on size again i've deleted more duplicates.
Still, there's quite a lot left and the only thing i can think of is software that can recognize the actual content of the image and have that look for duplicates. Is there any program that works this way? The process would probably take quite a long time so i guess i should start with smaller amounts of files and work my way through it.![]()
any ideas?

Well i know there's an app on my that where i can take a picture of something and it'll look on the internet for similar images. Same principle but that's hopelessly flawed. Any picture with a darker bottom half and lighter top will ive you picture of sunsets and other panoramic images
And there's the face recognition stuff ofcourse, picasa uses that.
Image recognition software, does this exist?
