Not sure if this is where this goes.
Burned image of a game (Sims 3), mounted .iso file with Daemon tools, ran set up, typed in serial number when requested, game installed fine, setup automatically updated game, game loads fine, then I go to start the game I get the message 'cant tell if this is a valid copy of Sims 3 contact customer services'! Any ideas.
My reason for imaging this was that my daughter never takes the disc out when shes finished and the computer will take an age to load when there is a disc in the tray.

You've run into the most basic DRM around: requiring the original disk to be in the computer.

But is there anyway around this? No?
Or would this be classed as being illegal?
I'm new to this imaging thing. -
Ask google, we can't answer this for you here.
