A while ago I needed to take Google Chrome off my laptop, and I unthinkingly did it by just deleting the files straight off the hard drive (in the Program Files file) and not going to Control Panel>Programs and Features and uninstalling it from there.

Well now I need Chrome back, but when I try to install it I get an error that says it is already installed.

What do I do to clear chrome off my computer completely and get the installation to work properly?

I've tried, but it says there was an error while trying to uninstall Google Chrome, and says it may already be uninstalled, then asks if I want to remove Google Chrome from the Programs and Features list. But even if I say yes and retry to install chrome again it gives the same installation error...
