Ever since I installed Microsoft Office XP, CHKDSK reported error message that said free space marked as allocated but it can not fix it when Windows was running. The program asked if I want to run CHKDSK/F the next time I reboot. When I run CHKDSK /F the next time it rebooted, it said that the drive was clean. But whenever I run CHKDSK manually when Windows is running, it again reported the same error message.

How do I fix this problem?

You could try removing Office XP and run CHKDSK and then reinstall it afterwards.
