    Increase start up screen resolution

    The initial low resolution windows logo screen.

    Is there a way to get the start up screen resolution not to be vga?

    For VISTA, I mean.

    The graphics driver is not loaded at that point, so no.

    Good to know that it is possible to have a boot screen with more than 16 colours.

    Unfortunately, with the method discribed in the links, this happens:

    Anyone knows how to fix this?

    Or just get Tune-up Utilities 2008 and you'll be able to change boot screen :)

    It's not that complicated. It's simple. But the first link "over-customizes", so it ends up seeming too complicated.
