Getting really PO'd, having a problem installing anything involving the usb, tried to install my deathadder, the software installed well, after this the found new hardware window pops up and wants to search for a driver, no matter what I do it will not install the drivers. I then tried my logitech wireless mouse same thing, after three "failed to install driver" messages the mouse started working but every time I restart my computer the "Windows needs to install software for your USB receiver" message keeps popping up, I just hit cancel, the mouse works. my other computer installs these usb devices through "New found hardware", but it doesn't seem to work on this one. I have Vista 32bit.

Fixed it, the USB receiver driver was missing, how it ended up missing? no idea. Had a feeling it was the driver should have checked it earlier, listen to your instincts I guess. :) :) :) :) :)
