hi, just try to install and activate Windows 7 Pro on my new notebook to get a digital license of Win 10.
    Notebook https://www.gamingguru.de/guru-venus-blackfriday.html#c7619fda21f7a5fcbba5ec643cd5b60f
SSD 960 Evo 500 GB connected via M. 2 in NVME mode

Here I have downloaded the iso http://winfuture.de/downloadvorschalt,3291. html
Windows usb tool created the stick http://winfuture.de/downloadvorschalt,2907. html

Error message " No valid medium ". Tested it on an old notebook. There the Win 7 installation started. So the stick goes

A Gigabyte tool should be able to add Win 7 USB 3.0 and NVME drivers later.

If you have a retail Windows 7 license that was previously upgraded to Windows 10 during the free period, you should be able to enter the W7 key on W10, and it will activate without needing to install the older OS first.
