    hello
    im trying to fix my mates computer by installing xp fresh again
    his comp is an old dell de051
    i went on the dell website and got all the drivers but i cant connect to our network or internet
    i go on control panel and cant see or connect to it even though its connected via an ethernet cable
    any ideas?

    Go to the Device Manager and make sure all drivers have been installed.
