    Hi all,

Here is my problem: I am buying a new laptop (ASUS AJ8P) with German XP Home pre-installed. I would like to remove the German XP Home version and install English XP Pro (which I had previously installed on my desktop).

May be a silly question, but can anyone advise if that would work? If yes, how should I do it?

If this worked it would obviously save me EUR 150 from buying a second English XP.

    Thanks! Kilgore

it should be no issue installing the EN version on ur DEU machine. Just pay attention when u r about to enter localisation (time zone, keyboard, language etc...)

drivers installation apply as normal, no surprise there

i am not sure when coming time to activate the OS, it might block u (?) since it is already being activated on ur desktop?

    cheers ...
