    Hey guys,

So I've had my new W230ST for a couple of days now, and while I love its near-nonexistent boot times, I'm curious as to whether I've made the right choice in choosing my primary boot drive.

I have a Samsung 256GB SSD and a Seagate 1TB SSHD in my system. I've installed my OS in my SSD.

I'm curious as to whether I should've installed it in my SSHD instead, freeing up my SSD for other programs - it would cache most of the Windows files since it would always be running, anyways.

    Any thoughts?

If theres been a topic on this before, apologies - nothing popped up in search.

I think it would be best to keep what you have right now. SSD's are significantly faster than SSHD's and caching is quite random. Since you have 256GB, I think it's more than enough for your main files and the rest should be kept as storage in your 1TB SSHD. What you don't want to do is completely fill up that 256GB because you will see a drop in performance, so be sure to leave a decent amount of space.
