    Hi guys

I'm having a problem installing and using Office Professional 2003 alongside Office Enterprise 2007.

After installation where I have Office Professional 2003 installed and then I install Office Enterprise 2007 when I go to run the apps one version after the other (for example Word 2003 after running Word 2007 or vice versa) the apps startup the installation programs which then "configures" whichever version of the Office app I'm trying to use..

Is there anyway I can install both Office Professional 2003 and Office Enterprise 2007 so that I can run them side by side without them constantly running their installation programs to "configure" themselves each time?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice :)

Does it run thru the install/configuration each and everytime you switch between apps?

So that if someone does give me a docx docoument or anything else made using Office 07 I can open it, plus I like to keep up to date.

Yes it runs the configuration everytime I switch between apps, only does it on 07 apps though, the 03 apps don't seem to need to.

Why not just keep Office 07?

My Thoughts exactly. In office 07 you can still save in the older formats, well in word and powerpoint anyway not sure about the others.

Just use Office 2007 and you'll have backwards compatibility with older Office formats, you can also choose to save in older formats too.
