I bought Windows 7 x64 Ultimate with a student discount from my school, and enthusiastically installed it onto my current PC.

I am thinking about upgrading. Do I need to get ANOTHER copy of Windows 7? Or can I use my current one on the new computer?

    Thanks!!

I've installed Windows 7 on my T400 and my T61 without a problem.

Consumer versions: One license, one key, one PC! Anything else MAY work temporarily but is not legal or in accordance with the agreement you accepted when you installed your purchased Windows 7 OS.

This. In addition, you can transfer the license to another PC, but your key may only be used on one computer at a time.
