Thank you SO much for reading this. Happy Holidays!

I just received a computer from someone that has Windows XP Pro on it, but the computer is slow and I want to wipe it and reinstall Windows. I have a Windows XP Home Edition CD that I bought a while ago with a computer, but that computer is now long gone. I want to install XP Home on this computer, however I don't have the product key for it. But, when looking at the computer I just got, I noticed there was a product key on the bottom on the CPU. Would this product key work?

I have also have another product key for Windows XP Home from an old Toshiba laptop that has never been opened, however I'm guessing it can only be used with that Toshiba laptop.

    Thanks for your help.
