I was looking at installing Windows XP Pro 32-bit as a second OS on my D901C (NP9262). However, Eurocom only supplied the SATA/RAID/AHCI drivers in an exe that can only be extracted to a floppy disc. Does anyone know where I can get the SATA drivers so I can load the XP installation? My BIOS has been set to AHCI mode. I have Vista x64 already installed. Pressing F6 does not find any drivers and the harddrive (200GB SATA II) is never detected on installation. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the Intel 82801HB/HR chipset and I need the SATA/RAID controller. Thanks.

Your notebook has the P965 Northbridge and the ICH8/R Southbridge....So download the Matrix Storage Manager/32-bit Configuration Floppy from here.

I do not have a floppy drive, or access to one. How can I make these files so that I can slipstream them into my XP Pro disc using nLite? Thanks again.

Unfortunately, no. I may be doing something wrong, but I get stuck at this part.

"go to insert then single driver then when its asks you to choose any inf file go to c:\CDImages\Drivers and select the VIAMRAID file and click open"

The drivers I have are in an EXE file made to extract ONLY to a floppy disc. Those are the only RAID/AHCI drivers offered by Intel's site and by Eurocom.

Also, I would think that Windows XP would be able to install normally, but whenever I do it, it never seemed to detect the harddrives (both the one with Windows Vista on it, and the storage HDD. Also, it does not detect the 75 GB of unpartitioned space on the Vista-installed HDD.

Maybe I can just clear the main HDD and installed Windows XP first. I don't know.

Download the 32-bit config floppy, that has some INF files, you have to select those INF files (or the whole folder) when slipstreaming with nlite.
