This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     It's probably a waste of time but I am attempting to install Windows XP on my fairly new HP DV7t-7000. I found the storage drivers I need and did the F6 process. Soon after STARTING WINDOWS the machine powered itself OFF!!! ??? Has anyone else tried this?
