Is it possible to install XP pro (english) over a german XP home install, to change the language of the OS to english?

Also is it possible to install XP from a pendrive or SD Card, because the Samsung NC10 does not have a optical drive?

Unless you have a XP Pro license key, your current key is only valid for XP Home.

Is possible to install XP from a pendrive. Here's the link.

Which is easier? Install it from a pendrive or over network?

i would say booting from Pendrive ( depending the speed of the pendrive) would be faster but you need to have boot floppies / CDs /DVDs for the both the method.
