I'm wondering if I can put the entire Chrome installation onto my RAMdisk. Or really any program, but specifically Chrome since it's weird about installation.

At the moment I have all User Data there but I'd like for the entire thing to be on it.

I would use the portable apps version because it puts all of the needed files in one directory. The regular version will use the various Windows user folders.

The portable app seemed to be broken when I tried it. I'll give it another shot.

    It's really tiny lol

Well their .exe downloads and installs the app to the directory you want. Sometimes their site can be a tad slow, but I installed a few things recently and those seemed fine.

    Is portable missing any features?

And is there any way to update it to the beta?
