    Hello,

I just bought this Acer travelmate 5720g laptop, it comes preinstalled with vista, but vista plain sucks, its not compatible with my mobile phone for internet so I NEED windows xp on it.

I got a floppy drive, the xp cd, and everthing else I can imagine I will need.

When I try to install, I press f6 so I can add drivers for the ICH8 bridge (or it wont even see any harddrives), after that it goes fine til right before it starts to copy files, here it tells me "Insert the disk labeled; Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver into drive A; Press enter when ready.

I tryed getting the disc labelled that from intel.com, but it aint working, its not even reading from the floppe when I press enter to continue etc, it just stops there, and only way to get a responce is f3 followed by rebooting.

Any help is VERY much appreciatet.

btw, though some reading, ive learned that its possibly because I need to disable native sata support in the bios, but the thing is, that theres no such option for that on my notebook.

So I NEED to do the install with native sata support enabled.

Why do you need stationary for this? Who do you need to write a letter to?

Cause I was in Ukraine when I found out how hard it was to get XP to work on it. And I had my stuff back in Denmark.

I got it to work with elite though, great program.
