Hey guys I was wondering whether you could just go to Intel's website and install the latest chipset drivers for our laptops (915chipsets) or if we have to wait for our manufacturers to update their drivers on their websites???

Intel has a new release for 915 chipsets dated november 11th or something like that, MUCH newer than the ones I currently have installed in my Z70Va.

I'm sure it should be fine right?

    Cheers,
    Mike

They usually recommend that you look for drivers from your manufacturer, but their drivers should still work for you. Just know that you do this at your own risk.
