    At website

    intel drivers pour Raid/Sata/Ata/Ahci
    *** non official driver - install at own risk ***

    you can download this BETA driver.
    Installation via Setup gives me better results than the installation via Device Manager.
    Give them a try.

    Performance seems about the same as 9.6.5.x versions. But always nice to see improvements on drivers and all.

    Checked with HWINFO32 and SIV 4.13 and they show the temps. HWmonitor does not show the temp of my eSATA drive. My primary SSD by Samsung has no temp sensors.

    @Phil
    I don't think this are BETA drivers, as they are signed and WHQL certified. IRST 10.0.0.1043 were unsigned and BETA.
    Everyone used IRST 9.6.5.1001 and they were also not available at Intel Support and Download!

    Some users suspect that these drivers boost SSD performance in Raid0 by being able to pass trim command, finally

    driver signing and whql are quite easy to fake. they are not an absolute assurance of the integrity of a driver package, they are an ADDITIONAL check intended to be used for drivers downloaded from manufacturers web sites.

    Anyone who downloads system level components (device drivers, etc) from other than the manufacturers web site is setting themselves up for failure.

    stationdrivers is well known for 'editing' driver packages.

    I make it a point to stick with drivers provided for my system by Dell, and Dell alone.

    On the otherhand, I have been known to download Video Drivers from Intel, or nVidia for other systems, though I think we can all agree those are "safe" to install.
