Intel specs for their Extreme CPU Line says that they can be overclocked using the Intel Tuning Framework (XTU). Has anyone seen that, know where to download or have any information?

    Thanks.

I've also searched for hours, and emailed intel support (who knows nothing about it) with no success.

From what I know about it XTU is currently not available to the public only to OEMs and such.

I think it may be released to everyone when the Nehalem desktop CPUs come out.

It may be the stuff they use in the BIOS to utilize the OC support?

Ya, I think it is given out to the OEMs and retailers. A few of us in the OCZ section have talked about it and haven't had any luck.

Just a matter of time.. they're still beta testing - it will be released within the next 6 months to the public. There's only a handfull of laptops currently capable of utilizing it, so once these rigs are more mainstream it will be publicly available.
