while looking into the XP Mode on Windows 7, i downloaded secureAble and it said my cpu does not support virtualization. I have a C2D t6500. On the BIOS, there is a option to enable Intel VT-D and accoring to intel its a techonlogy that lets me have guest OSs.
is this current?

Your T6500 does not support VT. That the entry is in the BIOS because your notebook is compatible with other (more expensive) CPU's that do support VT. At best, turning it on in the BIOS will do absolutely nothing, and at worst, it could render your notebook unable to boot.

I have a T6400 which also does not support hardware VT. I use Sun VirtualBox for a copy of XP when in Windows 7. It works and doesn't require Intel VT.
