sup peps. I have an issue with my turbo boost monitor. Recently, I've noticed that it wouldn't work sometimes for some strange reason. It would just show an X and I am forced to reinstall it.
Well I found out what the problem was. It was my registry cleaner (nortons). Whenever I do a registry clean, I would have to reinstall for it to work. I never noticed this since the cleaner is quite in the bg.
Does this happen with anyone elses registry cleaner or just norton 2010?

It doesn't work correctly, never has. This is why Intel took down the download, there are a tonne of bugs in it.

It works fine for me as long as I don't do a registry clean. Also, intel does have it on their site but it requires a bit more searching.

Doesn't work, as in: isn't accurate. The readings it gives you aren't always correct. You can check with Throttlestop.
