My friend just got a Macbook and i wanted to see if there was a way to do vid-conferencing between her macbook and my PC. so far, AIM and Skype don't seem to do the trick, so is there anything that's going to work out there that'll allow vid conferencing between OS X and Windows? It can even be just one way (from OS X to Windows)

Sightspeed!
GREAT video conferencing program for Windows and Mac's!
Oh... and it''s free!
Sightspeed -
didn't recognize my (windows) webcam nor the built-in macbook webcam

AIM didn't work? That's quite curious... did you have the correct ports forwarded on both ends of the connection? If it claims it supports it on both systems, then it should be fine.

aim works on both systems just fine, but on OS X, it doesnt support video conferencing

I'm surprised that Sightspeed didn't work.
I've loaded it onto my HP dv2000t (XP Home) and my wife's OS X machine, and it's worked great on both.
Strange....
