Found an interesting one this morning while filling out some insurance paperwork at work today. I noticed that while I was filling out my paperwork and let my computer idle it would go back to the log in screen every 5 minutes and I would have to log back in, this happened several times. Now I have the screen saver disabled and letting the screen turn off is set for a much longer time. I went into the personal settings to see if Vista may have enabled a screen saver after I installed SP2 yesterday, it didn't, but the grayed out time matched the time when it would automatically go to the login and the option to go to the login was checked. I decided to try changing them before I tried anything more drastic, so I enabled a screen saver so I could change those values, changed the time to 60 minutes and unchecked the go to login screen and disabled the screen saver again. This seems to have fixed the problem, and I have a feeling some folks might start reporting the same problem so I figured I'd post this preemptively to try and help out.

This only started after I installed SP2 and I restarted my computer once, not right after the SP2 install.

I'm not sure if that is a bug or not (sounds like it is), but SP2 does bring some power management changes/enhancements that might have affected how the screen saver is kicked in to gear.

Here's a list of improvements that SP2 brings, one of which is the power management enhancements: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=4894322&postcount=24
