has anybody used this traffic shaping? http://www.cfos.de/speed/cfosspeed_e.htm
it seems to work, Ive had it running now for almost a hour with Utorrent downloading in the back ground. although Utorrent speeds have not increased/decreased, the speeds at which i can open other web pages while downloading is noticeable faster :) I'm not quite sure how it works but it seems to with no noticeable side effects. also is 64bit compatible

I'm assuming this is commercial software that is only available for download as a trial version?

Did you have to pay for this,
My net connection is a little funky at the moment and will not let me load that site.

its free for 30 days, then after that? have not looked into that yet. comodo, avast and myself have not seen any spyware/adware. if its under 50.00 I'm thinking of buying it, but would like other opinions on it first, because 99% of the time these things don't work. but unless its fooling me with the numbers i think it works:tongue:
ok just looked and i cant find a U.S price. all i could find was this - 14.90 €. think the web site is from germany?

The program pre-configuration sucks, there are like 10-20 programs in the QoS list. When you reconfigurate it yourself it works better. I had it when I had cable and it did improve my browsing.
And I don't see how can cfos cause lock ups...unless there is some dial-up connections incompatibility....
