This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi,

    Internet explorer Icon is missing on my Desktop and I was tried to create with program files but there also its not available. I'm using IE8.0 with Windows XP SP3, Please provide me the solution.

    Why go to such extremes looking for things yourself when you can just have microsoft fix it for you :)

    Right click on Internet Explorer. Then select, "Send to Desktop(creste shortcut)."
