OK so after constantly having to scroll down about 1/2 inch in several of the programs I use regularly, I decided to try moving the task bar and I know kinda like it on the left, my only problem is that the I would like to invert it so that the windows button is at the bottom, so it looks like this:

    Is this possible at all?

You can, but it comes at a cost. If you switch the language to east asian right to left language, the taskbar will invert.

Im sure there has to be a application you can use to emulate a windows start button, infact I have seen them before.

So if you cant move the real one to where you want, find one of those programs and/or mods and do it that way.

Thanks Jack, sounds like too much of a cost :-(
Good idea Vicious, only problem is it would either have to be in the notification area or if it was an app, I would have to have X number of ever apps running since it fills from the top down. I guess I am SOL, M$ gives us this new taskbar and doesnt let you use it the way you want, just cos 95% of people keep it at the bottom.

True, I guess I shouldn't have expected anything different, when I watched the taskbar API marketing video a while ago, I should have known that "we have done research and found most people place the task bar at the bottom" really means, we have this great new taskbar but because most people wont place it elsewhere there's no point in letting you customize it.

Where is this located, I found all the languages, but I don't see an option for East Asian.
