I just wanted to know if 2 gigs of ram ddr2 667 is good enough for vista home premium and some gaming. I play CSS, Warcraft III, CoD:4, and of course starcraft 2 when it comes out. How big of a performance increase is it from one gig to two? and two to three? Four is pretty much out of the question for me right now, not gonna be buying a new copy of vista. Thanks.

better - but if u have a dedicated gpu, then not much over the 2gigo

dual booting with linux can be an alternative :D

    cheers ...

Vista can suck quite a bit of resources.
If you are going to be using P2P be prepared to get more or use the SD card as extra memory.

Luckily for the OP you can get 4 gigs of ram and you don't have to pay for a new version of Vista.

I have 4 gigs, but that's just because I can.
