My biggest problem with FireFox (one that keeps me on IE) is that when you open a new window or tab it opens with your homepage and not the page you were on.

I've done a right-click and then "open link in new tab" but then I can't go back which is the other think I want to be able to do.

Bottom line, I really like the way IE handles new windows by taking you to the same page and keeping your back button list. Can I get this for FF?

Have you looked at the options under 'Tabs'?

I'm not sure, but if you download the extension called "Tab Mix Plus" that might answer your questions. It is a HUGE comprehensive extension that does many things for tabbed browsing. It saves your session for the next time you open, it puts a close button on each tab (one of my favorite features), and much, much more.

I'm not sure about the back feature, but I don't remember being able to do that in IE. You're saying you're able to open a new window and still have your previous browsing history loaded? That's interesting, and if there are any extensions in FF that can do it I would bet on "Tab Mix Plus".

Yes I can do that. I think the extension that dose it is called Tabbrowser Preferences. I am pretty sure it will do that for you. I don't know if it will do the back button though.

Here you go. I am using the first one on the list. It clones your current tab. I think this is what you wanted. You could try the second one if you want but I haven't tried it yet.
Here are NBR members favorite extensions.

    Lukin...

Try Tab Mix Plus, it takes tabbrowser preferences and MAJORLY expands on it. It is BY FAR the most feature packed extension I have. Plus, it replaces a whole bunch that I used to have.

Will do. The extensions are one of the best parts of FF.

    Thanks guys!

Yep a clone of my current tab (including the browsing history) is what I wanted.
