Youtube buffers extremely slowly for me on my laptop - the rest of the internet has been fine.
My dekstop (running XP) has been running youtube fine.
I have a cable connection, have been able to run youtube quickly before that.

Vista SP1's fault (installed it recently)?

What web browser are you using? What version of flash player do you have? It's not very likely to be the OS.

    IE7, just installed latest flash...

The thing is, they buffered fine until a few days ago...

I'll try like Opera and see if there's a difference.

Ever tried Firefox? Give that a shot, just make sure you re-download flash for it from the Adobe website.

Unforutnatley, browsers don't seem to be the problem...

It's weird, only youtube and youtube-video related links (meaning 3/4 of them out on the internet) are burreing slowly...

Windows is blamed for any and everything.

Youtube video clips have been having problems for the last three weeks; there have been augmentations to the back end of their technology and equipment.

Videos run, if you have not noticed, at a slightly higher "high quality" resolution.

    Windows is not to blame.
