Strange question perhaps, but I have a nice desktop running on Vista Ultimate 32 bit version. It is now impossible for me to watch DVD movies.
From what I have been told, I would need to purchase a DVD movie decoder plug in. Anyone know if that would do it? What would really make me mad is to think that the "ultimate" would come with the Media center not able to play DVD movies. I used to have the XP Media Center on my old desktop and it played movies with no problem.

I think you should be fine. If you find that DVD's wont run, use VLC media player, or Media player classic. They arn't high-quality...but they work pretty well, and they're free. :p.
