ever since i updated NHC, ive been getting higher temps (180* f) whenever i play my game. ive been playing the game for a while and the temeratures never got this hot before. now i get that warning for reaching a high temperature. now im not too sure if the updated nhc is causing it but i was just wondering if anyone else experiences this.

note: i even changed my voltages back to the way i had it with the previous version of nhc.

    Hi zer0,

I had that issue recently (also have installed the new NHC version) but it turned out that the thermal paste on the CPU was gone! I had to reapply the paste and now everything is fine. I think that in your case it is just a coincedence - you should check probable causes like dusty fan grill, blocked air vents, and if it doesn't help check the CPU thermal paste - it was the root of my problems.

    Hope it helps,

    Ivan
