It seems like everyone else thinks it is a wet dream.

It has been crashing on me.

Am I the only person that feels IE 7.0 is faster than Firefox or is my computer an odd ball?

I tried chrome today, it was on my system for like 3min. then I decide I REALLY didn't like the interface so it got dumped. Google, Where is my File menu, my Internet Options? as for stability I only went to like 5 web pages so I don't know...

I guess I am still waiting for someone to beat MS and IE7... Yes I have tried FireFox, but it keeps crashing on ALL my machines for some reason.

You're pretty much alone on that. Of course, this post will probably attract all of the three people on these forums that share the same view as you.

The menus are accessed through buttons to the right of the omni-box.

Google Chrome got lot of bugs..

some pages take LOT of time to even connect.

and using Address bar as a Search bar puts Google confused.

I ll keep it installed but wont use it

Actually, this is one of the best BETA browsers to come out. Most stable BETA browser I've used.

No problems with Chrome as I only had it installed for 10 mins.

Decided I did not like it and went back to Gold.

    Namely IE7.

I really like chrome, its fast and stable and I like the minimalistic feel of it.

Once their plugin system comes online and we get some extensions and they fix some of their bugs, I'm going start using it exclusively.

I like the minimalistic design. However the lack of smooth scrolling is a bit of a pain.

It's nice and clean next to my highly functional but fussy looking Firefox.

Anyone know how to make it smooth scroll?

    You gotta remember its beta.

I'm sure it will be supported in a future release. Yeah I miss it too.

I had Chrome on my computer for 2 mins. Fired it up once, had a look, accessed a few website, and finally trashed. What a junk browser.

Yes I've a problem. Im near 100% sure it's caused by google chrome. When my notebook enters sleep mode the computer sounds like there is still activity, but will not respond when waking (This issue existed before SP1 on my notebook, but has not happened since installing SP1) requiring a forced reboot.

No problems here. It runs find but don't see that it's any faster than FireFox 3 even with the add-ons I use. Little plain but that can be a nice change sometime but I hope they add more customizing options.

Don't like that google updater has showed up again but thanks to McGrady in this thread I will try a clean install. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=295789

For now will stick with FireFox3 but will keep an eye on Chrome!

Google Chrome has a known bug about Sleeping. It won't sleep if you have chrome running.

Hm a user experiencing problems with Beta software - lol *shakes head*.

IE 7 is faster than FF, you don't use FF cause it's faster, you use it cause it's better. :)

Chrome's ok so far but I don't like the EULA that comes with it, sounds like Google owns you. I'll stick to FF.

You could simply download the source code, compile it, and use it without having to agree to Google's EULA. ;)

Hmm...strange mine doesn't crash. However I still prefer Firefox because it has all the addons, especially the Ad Block Plus.
